It seems I had forgotten about this site...
I seem to be having bad time remembering stuff lately...

*nods* I don't understand how the people in my major can be getting C's on everything. The class I just got out of is so boring that I've started bringing my sketchpad to class. And my online courses are complete drags.
I need Doritos....

Yeah. I'm quitting. Again. I try really hard to find something interesting in school, but in the end I just can't stand it anymore. But anyway... Today I got bitten by fire ants. I am allegic, so my boyfriend sought out medication and rushed me home. It was an interesting saga. Anything new with you lately? ^_^

Um, creeping out the new people at my church? I think I was a little like "Teenagers! You must stay here since we don't have any!" And they were like..."Bye."
*shrugs*

Heh heh. Teens are hard to keep in church because they don't feel they have to be there. I am one such teen that is often not present due to a lack of interest or the early hour at which church occurs.

Yeah. Plus, Saturday nights means that most teens/young people are doubly tired during the service.

The only reason I don't go to church is because my church is inhabited by people over fifty.
Seriously, you walk in and they stare at you like you've done something so totally wrong and against customs.

I know! And then you sit at the back because they are watching you, and that makes you doubly offensive. I didn't go to church last week. It felt sooo good not to go. That sounds really awful but I'm starting to think that the people in my church hate me too much, and I shouldn't go anymore.

Hmm. We have a pretty good amount of teens at my other church, but that one's really weird. The first one may not have as many teens, but at least the ones who do are ok to be around.
I met a guy at college who goes to a church where they completely threw out organized religion because so many people were judging others. I'm not sure if they threw out some of the basic Biblical beliefs as well, but I kinda liked the idea.

I dunno. The term "organized religion" is pretty loose. But if they mean, like, the traditional order of church, then it sounds fun. Lately I've been having this little argument with my boss. He thinks I need to become a "member" of a church, but I think not. I attend the same church regularly, I'm just not a member. I tithe and volunteer and do all the normal things members do, but I don't vote on stuff or... whatever it is that members do... I just don't like the idea that church is like a country club, and you have to go sign up for a however-long time of getting the benefits. Does that make sense?

I know what you mean, my dad feels that same way. We've been at this one church for like 6 years and he doesn't want membership... we're tied to Christ, not the organized system within walls of stone.
