Last night I got a phone call that a girl I knew was missing. She’d gone on a dive at about 1pm that afternoon in Puget Sound and hadn’t come back. She was in a dry suit, so there’s a small chance she might be still alive.
It was hard turning on the news this morning and hearing about it from such a detached perspective.
Today at school (she graduated last year… private school… 100 students…) everybody’s crying and praying.
It was hard getting a report, although false, that they had called off the search.
Didn’t know her extremely well, but I can’t bear to think that her brilliant smile and vivacious personality is just gone.
I know people pray here. Please pray for her family. Her dad died two years ago, so losing her would be terrible for her sisters and mother. Her sister is flying home from London, and also they were planning on having a wedding this summer. Please, please pray.

So I don't really have much news.
The Coast Guard has stopped the search, so only private individuals are out there, and they'll stop after today.

Mmm, all things are possible with God. I will continue praying for the girl and her family and friends.

Yeah, I heard about that girl here at school. I'm praying, along with everyone here.
