mean girls: Ugh, I am NOT a huge fan of Lindsay Lohan... or however you spell her name. And I hated the way they portrayed homeschoolers in this movie. *scowl*
E.T.: Haven't seen it in ages... but I remember it vaguely... the whole "E.T. phone home" thing.
A Nightmare On Elm Street (the old one, with Johnny Depp in it):

nightmare on elm street: Ooookay... this was a weird movie.. like in a freaky way. It was TOTALLY unrealistic... and the special effects weren't all that great... but I jumped about a foot in the air a few times, and I've had a hard time getting to sleep ever since I saw it (which probably explains why I'm tired. And hyper. And sick. And missing the highland games. noooooooooooooo!). War of the Worlds: Haven't seen it... I want to, though. Platoon:

Platoon: Uhh... that was basically a movie where they got payed to shoot and swear at eachother. Ick, not my kind of movie... There were only TWO good things about it: a) The music ROCKED. It was an adagio by Samuel Barber that was the theme song. b) Johnny Depp was in it. Only he got killed. And he only had a few lines. GRR! Pearl Harbor: I saw that movie years ago, methinks... I remember a few scenes of it... Edward Scissorhands: (sorry for all the Johnny Depp movies... Mom's made it her mission to see all, or almost all, of J.D.'s movies this summer... so we're watching 'em in order... and guess which one is the current one...? ) (And yeah, a Nightmare On Elmstreet was nasty... It was about this murderer who was burned to death in a boiler room of a school... and all these teenagers start having nighmares about being chassed by him in a boiler room... and then, he has knife-fingers, so they dream that he slices them open and kills them... and in real life, they've been sliced open and killed, and dragged around the room by this invisible thing... I'm just like, "Gah, okay, after J.D.'s character is killed, I vote we STOP watching this movie.")

*shudder* It was worse, too, but I won't go into detail. But seriously... *shudder* As if I wasn't scared enough of telephones BEFORE I watched the movie.

Edward scissorhands: Throughout the whole movie, I was either in the middle of a laughing fit, or I was crying. Mission Impossible: Neva seen it, love the theme music, though. Makes me want to start wearing trench coats. Ed Wood:

ed wood: *raises an eyebrow* Boy, Johnny Depp has done some weird movies. Seriously, though, watching him do a strip-tease in a blond wig and womens clothing? Uh, not the way I want to spend my afternoon.

sleepy hollow: WHOO! This is my ALL TIME favourite movie at the moment, methinks. Losta blood. And gore. And heads being chopped off. And lots of Ichobod Crane (played by Johnny Depp) fainting. YAY! Aladin: Whoa. It just hit me, I don't think I've ever seen the movie. Gah. The Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind:

aladin : gotta love the old disney movies...they have such awesome music...and romantic stories...and they are animated! so you can fall in love with the characters without all that slobering over the actor! it is great!!
eternal sunshine of the spotless mind : i know elijah wood was in this...but other than that i know it wasn't a very ... shall we say ... "clean" movie... ick
